A statement was released by the Harrison family Public Relations Representative, Laura Herlovich, to the Associated Press revealing Adam's cause of death as a suspected drug overdose.
“Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam," the statement said. "We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss.”
Herlovich told the AP she did not know where Harrison died or the overdose substance.
"Pawn Stars" features Harrison family
Rick Harrison has starred in the History Channel show with his family since 2009. It centers on family relationships and business operations of a storefront business on Las Vegas Boulevard called Gold & Silver Pawn.
Adam Harrison was not featured on "Pawn Stars" although he reportedly worked at Gold & Silver Pawn at one time, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal. The show does however feature Harrison's oldest son Corey Harrison. His youngest son Jake Harrison has also made appearances in recent years.
Rick's father family patriarch Richard Harrison, who was characterized on the show as “The Old Man,” died in June 2018 at age 77.
